A short, calm and family-friendly private horseback riding experience, created especially for children and families who would like to enjoy an easy and relaxed introduction to horses and riding in nature.

We begin by selecting the most suitable horse for each rider based on age, size and previous experience. Before heading out, you’ll receive a short introduction to horse handling together with basic safety and riding instructions.

For younger children or riders who need some extra assistance, our instructor may walk beside or lead the horse to ensure maximum comfort and safety.

The ride takes you through peaceful countryside paths all the way to the beach. There, you’ll enjoy a calm ride along the coastline before returning back to our starting point.

Experience our signature Hill & Beach Trail as a private horseback riding experience, reserved exclusively for you or for you and your riding companion.

Whether you're a solo rider, a couple, two friends, or family members looking to enjoy a peaceful and personalised ride in nature, this experience is designed around your riding level and confidence.

We begin with a short safety briefing & basic riding guidance, and match each rider with the most suitable horse based on their experience, height, and weight.

The ride takes us through olive groves, open fields, quiet forest paths, and gentle hills, gradually ascending to higher ground with panoramic sea views. From there, we descend towards the beach, where we ride along the shoreline and enjoy a unique short moment riding into the sea water.

After the beach section, we return to the ranch through peaceful countryside trails, completing a route that combines nature, beautiful views, varied terrain, and the coastline.

The pace and level of the ride are fully adapted to your experience:

– Riders with some previous experience can enjoy a calm and steady ride, mainly at walking pace
– More experienced riders may enjoy trotting & cantering/galloping in selected parts of the trail, where terrain, conditions, and riding ability safely allow

While this experience may also be suitable for riders with only some previous riding experience, participants should feel reasonably comfortable around horses and confident riding independently outdoors at least at a walking pace.

Good balance is required, as the trail includes uneven terrain, forest paths, uphill & downhill sections.

Please note that this is not a riding lesson, and there is no rope guidance available during the trail. Therefore, this private trail ride is not suitable for first-time/beginner riders or guests who require continuous physical assistance while riding.

🌊 Please Note:

During the trail, we briefly ride through shallow sea water. Depending on the sea conditions, there is a small chance that riders may get their shoes or lower clothing wet.

For extra comfort, some guests prefer bringing sandals, flip-flops, or a second pair of shoes and a small towel. These are completely optional, but may be useful after the ride.

Elevate your riding adventure with our most unique and unforgettable experience. This trail combines the beauty of the hills and the serenity of the coastline, culminating in a magical interaction with the sea alongside our horses.

The journey begins with our classic Hill & Beach Trail, following scenic paths through pine-covered hills before reaching the golden sands of Solina Beach. As we ride along the shoreline, the crystal-clear waters and breathtaking views create a truly captivating atmosphere.

Upon arrival at the ideal spot on the beach, we gently remove the saddles and prepare for the highlight of the experience — a refreshing and joyful sea interaction with our horses. Guests may wear swimwear underneath their clothes and enjoy some time in the water, creating unforgettable memories with these magnificent animals.

To make the moment even more special, we can capture some complimentary photos and videos (with a GoPro), allowing you to relive this extraordinary experience long after your visit.

Afterwards, we remount and return to the ranch at a relaxed walking pace, concluding a truly magical adventure by the sea.

What to expect during this trail-ride experience

This experience begins with our full Hill & Beach Trail, riding through beautiful forest trails, hills and along the coastline. During the ride, participants enjoy a combination of walking, with opportunities for trotting and cantering/galloping where terrain and riding ability allow.

Towards the end of the experience, we stop at a quiet part of the beach where our instructor removes the saddles.

***We recommend wearing swimwear underneath your riding clothes.

Riders then continue enjoying the experience bareback, spending some time walking and playing with the horses in the sea.

The water usually reaches around the horses’ shoulders/back level, allowing riders to safely enjoy the unique feeling of being in the sea together with their horse.

This is not deep-water horse swimming. The horses always remain able to stand comfortably on the seabed, and the entire activity takes place under the close supervision of our instructor and with safety as our top priority.

⚠️ Attention:

This experience includes riding both in and out of the sea without a saddle in a walking pace.

Upon reaching the beach, riders will dismount while our instructor removes the saddles and safely stores them before entering the water. After the ride into the sea, we tack up the horses and we will continue the ride back in a walking pace.

For this reason, participants must have good riding experience, balance, confidence, and a comfortable connection with their horse.

This experience is recommended only for experienced riders who feel comfortable riding independently and maintaining a secure seat without the support of a saddle.

All parts of the activity are conducted under the supervision of our guides and with all necessary safety measures in place.
