Horse-Ranch Manippos is a family-owned and operated horse ranch founded in 1995 by the Altiparmakis family.
Today, our life with the horses follows the seasons between two very different parts of Northern Greece: our main horse farm and stables near Loutra Pozar, and our seasonal summer riding location near Kallithea, Halkidiki.
Although the landscapes and riding experiences are different, both locations share the same philosophy: small groups, personal contact, respect for our horses, and guided riding experiences in nature.

Our Summer Riding Location
From approximately late May until early October, part of our horse family moves to our seasonal summer location, just outside the village of Kallithea in Kassandra, Halkidiki.
Here, we offer guided horseback riding experiences through countryside paths, hills, forest trails and along the coastline.
Our Halkidiki location is not a traditional equestrian centre with regular opening hours. It operates seasonally and by reservation only, with scheduled rides mainly early in the morning and later in the afternoon or evening.
Depending on age and riding experience, we offer family-friendly rides for children as well as more advanced trail experiences for confident riders.

Our Main Farm & Stables
Our main home is located in the countryside near Loutra Pozar and Aridaia, in Northern Greece.
This is where our horses spend most of the year and where you will find our main stables, paddocks, farm facilities and the wider Manippos family.
From approximately late-October until mid-May, we welcome visitors for guided horseback rides through countryside paths, small forests, streams and open natural landscapes.
The Loutra Pozar farm offers riding experiences for different ages and levels, from children and first-time riders to guests looking for longer trail rides in nature.

One Family β Two Seasons
Our horses do not stay in one place all year.
Together with them, we move between the mountains and countryside of Aridaia-Loutra Pozar and the sea and hills of Halkidiki.
It may not be the easiest way to organise a business β but after more than 30 years, it has simply become our way of life.
Whether you meet us by the sea in summer or at our main farm in the north during the cooler months, you are visiting the same family, the same horses and the same Ranch Manippos.
